I enjoy hiking, camping, and visiting National Parks across the US. Basically if its enjoyable and outdoors, I've either done it or its on my bucket list. You can usually find me with my fur-babies, Armstrong and Earhart, when I'm not busy planning my own wedding!
Over the years of being a photographer, I have had the pleasure and joy of working with dozens of newborns and countless families. In other words, I'm obsessed with my job. Working with each client to give them a beautiful and unique experience is always my top priority. Being a photographer gives me the ability to capture memories and I have the privilege of sharing that with my clients.

A snapshot into my life
On evenings and weekends my time is spent with my doggos playing, hiking, and scouting out new pituresque locations for future sessions. When I come home from work though, I am guaranteed to be greeted by wagging tails and of course some slobbery kisses. My clothes may have a sprinkle of dog hair on them, but that's only because I receive nonstop love from two happy and crazy dogs!
Another passion of mine is pet rescue and supporting shelters; it brings me so much joy and both of my own fur babies are rescues. Whether its setting up a fundraiser to raise money for a local St. Louis rescue or watching my own rescues learn to love and trust, you can always find me scouting out new ways to make a difference.

My Favorite Things
Too many plants? Says who? I may not have the greenest thumb ever but that sure doesn't stop me from collecting a whole plethora of uncommon and rare houseplants. From philodendrons to pothos to monsteras, I have just a little bit of everything. Some may call my corner of the living room a jungle, but I just call it my happy place!
And like dogs, I love rescuing plants. Finding free dying plants on Facebook marketplace is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Nothing quite compares to the satisfaction you get when you see a plant go from being sad to sprouting new leaves.

Seeing new places has always been important and thrilling to me, but when I got the National Parks stamp book, it took it to a whole new level. I have a completionist mindset and can't stand to not finish a collection/list. Sometimes it is to my own detriment but in this case it has taken me to some of the coolest places I never would have thought to go.
One of the most underrated spots in the United States in my opinion is the black hills of South Dakota. It isn't talked about much but I implore you to look it up and maybe go see it for yourself!

Amazing photographer! We have used Kristen for engagement, wedding, newborn, family, and every photo in between. Our expectations are not only met, but exceeded every single time! Her patience and commitment to get the perfect photo is impressive. She can even manage to get a rowdy toddler to somehow cooperate and look at the camera for family photos.
